ProActive Marine Corrosion Cleaner neutralizes sulfuric acid corrosion by acting as a weak base, converting the corrosive acid into harmless sodium sulfate (naturally present in seawater), water, and carbon dioxide. It creates a fizzing reaction upon contact, which visually indicates neutralization, stopping the acid from further eating away at battery terminals and cables.
